Not all snacks are created equal, though. I try to avoid snacks with refined sugars, refined flour, and/or any ingredients that I don’t recognize. Sometimes, the easiest things are apples and bananas. I always keep Gogo Squeeze applesauce on hand. I like these because they don’t have added sugar. They are easy to grab on the way out the door. And, when I’m racing mountain bikes, they work better than expensive goo packets.
Some other snacks I keep on hand;
– roasted and salted almonds

– 100% fruit leather

– Babybel plant based cheese
– homemade popcorn with olive oil (or popped amaranth, or sorghum)
